An update on our prices…
As you’ll no doubt have seen in the news, down the petrol station, and at the shop, the cost of living has gone a bit crazy lately… and as a business, we have been hit by some quite significant price increases too.
Our rent has doubled, aluminium cans are up 17%, utilities by 30-40%, Co2 has more than doubled, raw materials such as malt and hops are all up, our rubbish collection from the local council has increased 7% and we don’t need to tell you about the current cost of fuel…
We have been working on and have undertaken a full efficiency drive here at Brick, and whilst we have managed to absorb a lot of these costs, we are simply unable to do so for all increases.
Unfortunately that means that we have no alternative but to increase our prices slightly from the 1st May.
We wholeheartedly appreciate the support you all offer our brewery. Be that through an order of kegs for your pub or distribution channel, the purchases on our online shop, a case of cans for your bottleshop, or a pint or two down the taproom. It’s all hugely appreciated.
We will be continuing to look at efficiencies across every aspect of the business and if we are able to do so, we’ll pass them on in terms of the end product price.
We hope to continue to expand production, invest more in our team, create even more varied and industry-leading sours, as well as ensure the quality of our Foundation Range remains consistent for years to come. All with your continued support.
Thank you in advance for your understanding. All independent businesses will be feeling a similar pinch of late, so be sure to support your favourite indies if you can and look after yourselves.
Cheers,
Team Brick x
